چکیده
افزایش اشتغال و کاهش بیکاری به عنوان یکی از شاخص‌های توسعه‌یافتگی جوامع محسوب می‌شود. با توجه به رشد جمعیت شهرهای جهان و افزایش تقاضا برای غذا و شغل، کشاورزی شهری می‌تواند یکی از راهبردهای مهم برای پاسخ به این تقاضا باشد. هدف از این تحقیق، بررسی نقش کشاورزی شهری در اشتغال و کارآفرینی در کشورهای مختلف جهان بود. از نظر روش‌شناسی، این تحقیق از نوع مطالعات علمی- مروری می‌باشد و از روش مطالعه اسنادی و کتابخانه‌ای عمیق استفاده شده است. بررسی‌ها نشان داد، علیرغم وجود محدودیت‌ها و حمایت‌های ناچیز، فعالیت‌های کشاورزی شهری، سهم قابل‌توجهی از اشتغال و تولید محصولات کشاورزی در کشورهای مختلف جهان را به خود اختصاص داده است. طبق نتایج، کشاورزی شهری دارای ظرفیتی است که می‌تواند طیف وسیعی از فرصت-های اشتغال کارآفرینانه در بخش تولید و خدمات کشاورزی در شهر را برای جوانان جویای کار به‌ویژه فارغ‌التحصیلان کشاورزی دارای ایده‌های نو تأمین کند. همچنین یکی از مهم‌ترین انگیزه‌های کشاورزان شهری در کشورهای درحال‌توسعه از جمله ایران تأمین غذای باکیفیت و کسب درآمد پایدار با انگیزه‌های کارآفرینانه است، لذا کشاورزی شهری در کشور ایران که بیکاری جوانان یکی از چالش‌های اصلی است، می‌تواند به عنوان راهکاری برای اشتغال مولد جوانان و فارغ‌التحصیلان کشاورزی مورد توجه متولیان اشتغال و توسعه قرار بگیرد.
